Cross Country Volunteers
Parent volunteers are needed to help out during both practices and meets.
It is extremely helpful to have four or five adults positioned around the course at Brundage Park during practices to ensure the safety of all of the runners and to encourage them to work hard. The coaches will ask for assistance at the start of each practice and will direct each volunteer to a spot on the course. If you will be at Brundage Park during practice, please see one of the coaches to find out if you can help out.
During meets, it is critical to have the support of several volunteers. The Lakeland League mandates that every town provide parent volunteers for every meet, and each town has different responsibilities. Randolph requires volunteers for:
Runner Check-In (2)
Finish Line (6)
Snack Bar (4)
Every family should plan to volunteer for at least one meet. In order for our meets to run successfully, please check your calendars now and sign up for two meets at which you can volunteer.
Thank you for your support!
